Statement of Purpose

This massage business is run by Revitalizing Massage By Amy, LLC. She is the sole proprietor of this business. Amy Buehler graduated from the Dayton School of Medical Massage & was licensed by the Ohio Medical Board in October of 2016. An important aspect of her education included completion of 30 desk hours and 75 massage hours at the Dayton student clinic. She passed the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination in September of 2016. Amy’s skills include ethics, business, dependability, responsibility, patience, time management, customer service, and compassion. She learned these skills throughout school and her previous job as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at Koester Pavillion for 4 years. While she worked as an STNA, she also learned how to care for and aid residents in their activities of daily living.

Amy’s business “Revitalizing Massage by Amy” will provide therapeutic massage to clients throughout Sidney, Ohio and surrounding areas.

The benefits of massage therapy include: stress relief, improvement in circulation, lowered blood pressure, relaxes muscles, improves flexibility, and range of motion. Massage therapy also helps to relieve headaches, reduce anxiety, and enhance exercise performance.

What is unique about Amy is she wants to make a positive impact on others while promoting health, well-being, and compassion. During her experience as an STNA at Koester Pavillion, she worked alongside fellow STNAs, nurses, and physical therapists aiding in the comfort and rehabilitation of residents during their stay. Changing people’s lives by caring for them and helping with their rehabilitation inspired her to pursue a lifelong career as a licensed medical massage therapist.
